As The Stan Dup Ensemble, we aim to nurture creativity and engage new audiences with the work of Brisbane's brightest emerging talents. In 2017, we will be continuing our commitment to helping grow the names of those who deserve it. Throughout the year, we will be presenting seven theatrical works, as well as creating opportunities for local visual artists and musicians to exhibit their work. As many details are still to be confirmed, we cannot say too much specifically in regards to 2017 at this point in time as most confirmed details are on a need-to-know basis. Our full season will be launched in Feburary, however some details will be coming out very soon.
Work with us in 2017!
Are you a Brisbane-based artist? Do you want to collaborate with us or exhibit your work through our platforms? Here is your chance! Just tell us a bit about yourself and what you want to do, and we can start talking about how we might be able to make something happen. This call-out will not be the only one for 2017 and is only for The Stan Dup Ensemble's 2017 projects. Any call-outs for The DIY Festival will be run separately to these EOI's.
Please be advised that there may be additional steps that we will need to take before collaborating and the details of these steps depend on what art form you specialize in. We may ask you to audition for us, do a bit of an interview, to show us a bit of your previous work, or possibly none of that. Every application will be assessed on a case-by-case basis as we receive them.
To be eligible, artists must be over the age of 18 and be based in Brisbane (or the surrounding area).
The Stan Dup Ensemble is committed to equal opportunities policy and practice and will ensure that all performers, creatives and clients, both actual and potential, are treated equally and as individuals regardless of age, disability, ethnic or national origin, gender, marital or parental status, political belief, race, religion or sexual orientation.
