For more than 25 years, I believed I wasn’t creative. I thought it was something certain individuals were born with - it wasn’t until later in life that I had the realisation that every individual is a creative being; it’s not just defined by their ability to make art in the generic sense. Creativity has nothing to do with any kind of activity, it is purely a way we interact with our surroundings, the way we perceive and do things in our own unique way. We are all born with this quality, and unfortunately a lot of the time it is conditioned out of us by way of educational, societal and personal influences.

I am a self-taught artist, having never stepped foot inside an art class through my schooling or adult years. I simply awoke one day with the desire to harness a type of life force that I felt was stuck inside me for some time. With the support and encouragement of others I opened my creative channel and felt many gentle, but powerful, changes within my life. I now live a creative life, however that manifests changes day by day.
