It's time for another top-secret, behind-the-scenes, finger-licking-good edition of "Getting Up Close and Liminal with the Limbo Crew!" Today, we’re getting to know our master of Gaffe and Stage Manager extraordinaire, Skye Heales! We tracked Skye down to ask her a few questions, and here’s what she had to say.
So, Skye, tell us a bit about yourself.
I am a theatre maker, a world-explorer, a cloud watcher, a star gazer, a feather collector and a Disney-pin trader.
If someone was going to make your life into a movie, who would play you?
When you have a five-minute break during rehearsal, what do you spend that time doing?
We have breaks?
What sort of person is going to love this show?
Anyone who has ever tried to catch a train in Brisbane.
Why did you want to be involved in LIMBO?
It’s been a great way to learn stage management in a fun and friendly environment.
What’s going to surprise people about this show?
If I told you it would ruin the surprise, wouldn’t it?
Who should absolutely not come and see this show?
And there you have it, the sneaky secret behind-the-scenes scoop from Skye! We'd like to thank Skye for taking time out her busy schedule to chat with us and we can't wait to hear from her again! And an extra special thanks to Isabeau Schubert for the stunningly awesome photography!
LIMBO will be performing from June 29 - July 1 and tickets are on sale now. For more information, including how to buy tickets, check out our Facebook event and at standupensemble.com/limbo. We can't wait to see you there!
