It was close. Maybe a bit too close for our own taste, but we reached our goal of $3000 with only 12 minutes to go! Thank you to everyone who donated to the campaign, it's been a hectic few weeks for all of us here at The DIY Festival, and we could not be more grateful for you generous support.
As we mentioned in our campaign, we will be releasing 6 videos to commemmorate each $500 raised, however we have recently been swamped by workload, however we have already filmed 3, and those should be out in the coming week for you.
Tickets are now on sale for The DIY Festival, and you will be able to find our store at the bottom of this blog, as well as at thediyfestival.com.

Also, thank you to everyone who came to our launch, and to the amazing people who made it possible. Thanks to Harry Pierce, Matt Hsu (Matt-Shoo), Alekka, Old Semeil and The Schwifties for performing at the launch, as well as Tasia Freckles, who MC'd the night (and will MC the festival!), Paul Adams for officially launching the festival and Caroline Townsend, who went out of her way to make the launch as great as it was! There are dozens, if not hundreds more people to thank, but time constrains us unfortunately.
The DIY Festival runs from the 24th-27th of November 2016 at Raw Dance Company on Evesham Street, Moorooka. Tickets are on sale now!
