The DIY Festival Team Announcement : Welcome Paul

Hey guys, we hope everyone has a great Easter and long weekend.

After our announcement of The DIY Festival on Wednesday, we would like to introduce you to our festival team! We would also like to welcome aboard our newest festival team member, our music co-ordinator, Paul Hewett!

Paul Hewett - Music Co-ordinator

Paul is a musician and theatre practitioner with five years experience, specializing in the areas of music direction, music and theatre in education, and performing as an actor and musician. Paul first stepped onto the Brisbane performing arts scene in 2011 as a performer with productions made through Griffith University, in 2012 Paul made his first appearance at a professional venue at La Boîte during FAST with the devised piece Here Goes Nothing. Paul has then gone on to perform in venues such as Metro Arts, SYC Studios, Judith Wright Centre and Brisbane Powerhouse. Since this time Paul has further specialized into the areas of Music Direction and teaching, working as a producer and Music Director on the Something Like Theatre Festival and working in schools with The Song Room.
