Patrick McGreevy is a Brisbane-based, theatre director, producer and writer, and is the current artistic director of The Stan Dup Ensemble. Known for his poignant, critical dialogue and unique direction stylings, Patrick completed his Bachelor of Arts in Applied Theatre at Griffith University in 2014. In September 2013, Patrick co-wrote The Raft with Robbie Maher (Something Like Theatre Festival). He worked as the venue manager for the inaugural DIY Festival, and is producing the 2016 iteration. As a director, Patrick recently directed Liberation (2016), his first directorial role as artistic director of The Stan Dup Ensemble. He also co-produced and promoted This Is How I Met You, SDE’s first show of 2016.


Using witty dialogue, social comment and scientific examination, Patrick is passionate and driven in creating cutting edge, new theatrical experiences for audiences. He is an avid believer that, for artists to be successful in the current climate, they must unite, and thrive together, and he strives to be at the forefront of this endeavour.
